2.03. Use the property of a client or employer only in ways properly authorized, and with the client's or employer's knowledge and consent.

The development of the software product needs to be fulfilling the required quality dimension. Client of the project rely on the software engineers immensely trusting them to be forthright and honest with them. Normally the client would provide any necessary resources to software engineers as they requested in order to have a proper production. These resources can be human, financial or physical according to the necessity of the project requirements that they are assigned. Software engineers would bring clients’ attention to any requirement and request them of it honorably and refrain from obtaining it. When it comes to usage of resources, most of the developers unethically used it without their intention. The Client needs to clearly state the provided resources to the client to minimize that usage.

As we have to redevelop a site regarding virtues, we need to be more concern about the resources that we used for the purpose. We had to contact the developer more than one time to ask for resources he used for this web site. As a result of that we were given necessary access to previously hosted website in their hosting server. Along with the hosted reputeu website there’re some more other websites also available to access for us as we granted. But we didn’t access to any of these unrelated resources when we have proper access to that. As we had to make extensive use of the properties of our client; sources he provided and other related guidelines to follow when developing the website. All such acquired properties including previously hosted website were obtained in a manner properly authorized by our client with his approval and his prior knowledge and consent. 

As a task to follow within our project we had to collect virtue story from our batch mates and upload it after categorizing according to the virtue they were used. We have access to each and every creation but couldn’t use them for other purposes despite of using it for this task. If we need to make some changes to the creation ( for an example if a certain virtue story is exceeding the maximum size for a file; we need to minimize it somehow ) , we ask for proper authorization and those changes are done with client’s knowledge and consent. 

This code conveys that the importance of using resources or properties of a client or employer in a way of authorizing. It’s not ethically to use unauthorized resources without the consent or knowledge of the client. It builds a powerful bond between both parties to do the project continuously.
